Zuzi Janikova
Administration Officer
Originally from Czech Republic, Zuzi moved to Burnley in 2006 and now calls it her official home. Zuzi manages all administration duties within the Burnley office and ensures that all our paperwork is up to date. If you come in for an appointment, remember to ask for a 'Zuzi Brew' - her speciality!
Toni Prout
Client Liaison Officer
Toni spends her time working with our clients in Burnley to ensure that we offer the most appropriate support for them. If you need to book an appointment with a business adviser or if you want to know more about our workshop programme, you need to speak to Toni. Since joining us at the tender age of 16, you could say that Toni knows a thing or two about customer service.
Marie Sarveswaran
Client Liaison Officer
Marie handles all new enquiries within Pendle and ensures that everything runs smoothly at the Pendle Enterprise Haven. If you're based in Pendle and need to book an appointment with an adviser, or book onto a workshop, Marie is more than happy to assist.
Prior to her career at the Consortium, Marie fulfilled a customer service role within a variety of prestigious companies in Lancashire.
Deborah Stanworth
Administration and Bookkeeping Officer
Since joining the agency in 2006, Deborah has headed up the administration and management of bookkeeping support within Pendle. If you're in need of business support, Deborah will work with you to ensure you receive the most appropriate support for you and your business.

Adrian Ashton
Business Adviser
Known as our 'Social Enterprise Guru' Adrian has an extensive background across a range of sectors and expertise but mostly enjoys working within the social enterprise sector. Adrian has worked with us for over 4 years and during this time has worked with a variety of businesses, from sandwich shops to tree surgeons. He is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting and the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Adrian delivers both one-to-one advice and workshops within Burnley.
John Ball
Business Adviser
John has over thirty years experience with a family business in the wholesale / retail sectors and has been a business adviser for nearly twenty years. He takes a great interest in marketing and using computers for both marketing and making business processes more efficient. He is a specialist adviser in computer bookkeeping systems. John is based at our Blackburn office and provides one-to-one advice for new start and established businesses as well as presenting business planning workshops.
John is SFEDI accredited.
Fergus Brown
Business Adviser
After working in the marketing industry for over 25 years, Fergus knows a thing or two about marketing.
Fergus began his career at a top national advertising agency, before becoming the Marketing Director of a retail travel company. Over the last 7 years, Fergus has run his own business consultancy, providing advice to local enterprises. He is a member of the Institute of Direct Marketing and the Institute of Business Consulting.
Fergus delivers one-to-one advice and workshops within both Burnley and Pendle.
Salma Chaudhry
Business Adviser
Salma has an excellent business background with experience in a variety of different fields some of which include, sales and marketing, exporting, wholesaling and management. At a very young age Salma launched her own publishing company and more recently has been involved with the fashion industry.
Salma delivers one-to-one advice and workshops in Blackburn, Burnley and Pendle.
Carole Garrett
Business Adviser
Carole has 35 years experience in the aerospace/engineering industry and 20 years management experience in various disciplines including Supply Management, Sales and Marketing, Production and Human Resource.
Carole was the former Director and General Manager of an Aerospace PLC and the General Manager of a SME.
Over the last 5 years, Carole has run her own successful business consultancy providing advisory services to the SME's market.
Carole is SFEDI accredited and delivers one-to-one advice within Burnley.

Stephen Goodall
Business Adviser
Stephen joined the Consortium as a Business Adviser in 2009. Previously Stephen has worked in an accountancy practice for 20 years until recently setting up his own business. Stephen specialises in finance, namely production of management and statutory accounts, cash flows and taxation.
Stephen delivers one-to-one advice in Blackburn and Pendle.
Bert Greenhalgh
Business Adviser
Bert became self employed as a business adviser following a lifelong career with a high street bank, latterly a lending manager. Bert's speciality is finance; from Venture Capital, Product Costing / Project Appraisal, Financial Planning, Benchmarking, to Start Up Funding.
Bert is also experienced in Training Needs Analysis, Business Diagnostics, Marketing, Quality Systems (Certified Internal Quality Auditor). Bert is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting.

Martin Kemp
Business Adviser
Alongside his role as a Business Adviser at the Consortium of Enterprise Agencies, Martin is also an experienced MD and Chairman, especially used to working with progressive owner managed businesses.
Martin has been self employed for the past 30 years starting, developing and selling a variety of businesses. His skills in strategic planning and marketing have been particularly helpful in agreeing practical solutions for hundreds of businesses. Martin is SFEDI accredited and delivers one-to-one business advice in Rossendale.
Robert Parkinson
Business Adviser
Once bingo caller turned car sales man, turned bar owner, turned journalist, turned film producer, you could say that Robert knows a thing or two about enterprise. More recently Robert is a Director of an electronic engineering company, where he has resided for over 10 years. Robert has gained over 20 years experience as a business adviser and is a founder member of the Institute of Business Consulting.

John Swarbrick

John embarked on his vocation as a business adviser following a successful career in banking spanning over 30 years. John has a sound knowledge of all areas of business start-up including financial planning and basic book-keeping.

Kate Mayers
Marketing and Project Manager
She promises one day to start her own catering company but until then, Kate manages the Consortium's marketing and outreach work, as well as leading the Graduate Placement Scheme and the beconnected networking events. Since graduating in 2004, Kate has worked around the country in various marketing companies where she has worked with a cross section of well known clients. She joined the Trust in 2006.
Sam Smallridge
Project Manager, Intensive Start-up Support Project
Sam currently heads up our Intensive Start-up Support project. In doing so she ensures our clients receive the support most appropriate to them. Sam joined the Trust over 20 years ago and has spearheaded a variety of projects and initiatives including the Shell Step programme and the National Young Enterprise programme in Pendle. With so much experience you could say that enterprise is in her blood!
Dave Walton
Project Manager, Get Set project
Project Manager Dave joined the Consortium in 2002 as Office Supervisor. Over the past 2 years he has headed up the Get Set business support programme.
Dave has extensive project management experience having previously working for 19 years as a Project Manager in the automotive sector and a further 4 years as a Production Manager at a local manufacturer.

Kevin Clark
Chief Executive
Having joined the Consortium in 1999 as an advisor, Kevin is well placed to lead the organisation having experienced its operations and activities at all levels.
Drawing upon his other experiences as Directors of PLCs in engineering and manufacturing industries, he has developed a versatile approach which gives him an advantage in further developing and strengthening the support available to local enterprises.
Donna Park
Finance Manager
Finance Manager Donna has worked for a cross section of businesses, and with over 25 years experience, her financial skills are second to none. Donna is familiar will all financial packages and works with funders and suppliers to ensure all financial operations run smoothly.
Steve Wilkinson
Operations Manager
If the average man can juggle 4 balls at a time, Steve can juggle 5! As the Operations Manager for the Consortium, Steve oversees all day to day operations across the company. Prior to embarking on his career here, Steve gained experience working on the management team for multi-million pound technology based projects for over 12 years.
Steve is passionate about enterprise and loves working with the variety of businesses that come through our doors every day.
